Lara Moammar

“I’ve been a professional interpreter since 1996. I was trained at Associação Alumni and at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, in California. Before beginning my career as an interpreter, I studied psychopedagogy.

Additionally, my experiences living in Quito, Ecuador and Toronto, Canada as a child and teenager gave me a broader understanding of Latin and North-American cultures. This background is extremely valuable as an English and Spanish interpreter.

On different occasions I have had the opportunity to translate for five heads of state: Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Fernando Henrique Cardoso, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Tony Blair. It has truly been a privilege.”
